Is my barrel worn out?

I have a 6.5 CM have no idea of how many rounds Ive put through it....................i would guess well over 1500 The issue Im having is that shooting the 143 ELD-X Ive alway shot at 1/2 MOA at 200 yards Now im having a hard time keeping my groups under 2 inches at 100 Same load ive always shot. This morning cool weather dead calm I shot three 5 shot groups and both were over 3" at 100 Crazy..............Im guessing my barrel has had it .

I even tried brand new Lapua Brass I anneal after each shot

It that a fair assumption?
Carbon build up at throat and up. regular cleaning normally does not get carbon out.

When's the last time you cleaned it? And CLEANED it, not just running a patch down it...

Going from LRX to ELD's is a recipe for disaster without cleaning all the copper out first.
I cleaned it completely, Butches bore shine, sweets, until there was no more blue and the patches were totally clean...............takes a while, but it was super clean.

Screws on rings were all tight. Cleaned the Rifle until there was no carbon or jacket fowling. I will take it to a smith and have him check it out. My load have a SD of 5 I could NOT get the LRX's to shoot at all.............Well the fall my rifle took had no affect same groups this moring 5@1. 243 100 yds... The thought of getting a new barrel and a new load development not to pleasant. I talked to Travis at TS Customs and would let him know what I planned on doing. Travis built me a 17Remington that is all joy to shoot. No matter what i send down the bore its alway well under .5 and last friday 5 @ 100 .159 Ive had lots of 5 shot groups in the low .2's .209 and .211 two weeks a go and thats with an average velocity of 4166.
I will see what the Gunsmith says and go from there.

My moneys still on a scope problem. I know it's a giant pain but have you tried taking off the scope and mounting it on a different rifle to see if suddenly the other gun can't shoot either? And mounted a different scope on your current problem rifle to see if things change. It's hassle, rezeroing is annoying, but it would answer the scope question conclusively.

funny you mentioned that ................................I switched scopes yesterday from the Huskemaw to a Leupold 6-18 Shot a whole lot better......................Not what I wanted but so much better. I did that about a month ago before the scope fall and each time the leupold out shot the Huskemaw...........

IF, the Barrel, IS "clean" and the groups ARE,.. "Double" in size, she's,.. GONE !
Seen THAT Movie myself,.. a couple of Times.

The barrels I've shot out sure did! But they have been big magnums.
YUP,.. ^^^ BINGO !
Not all, Steel Barrels are created,.. "Equal", either !
Seen Maggie's "go south" at, 750 to 800 rounds !
They last longer if, kept COOL and "good" COLD Powders, are used !
The OP said that, that, his Barrel,.. HAD,.. " Well OVER, 1,500 rounds",...

Since the rifle took a fall I'd have the crown checked too. But it sounds like it's shooting better with a scope swap correct?

A tad better but noting close to what Im use to ...... yesterday with the leupold I had one five shot group that was 1.246 and one that was .983 For most that would be ok but not when my hunting load would do .404 at 200 yards.... Dont even ask what is doing at that Range...
Ok 2.5 to 3" and with that kind of performance its not going hunting
