INTRODUCING Accubond Long Range

Well, I've always had to choose between the bc bullet I wanted, and the terminal performance preferred. Have been using 160 accubonds in my 7mm rum, a little more weight and a better bc will make it go from an ok compromise to allmost perfect.

Glad to see nosler push for these, Only can hope they are to the quality of all the other nosler products I currently use.

When will these make it to the shelves, would like to haul a few boxes home.

The 190 would sure make a 1000 yard 308 win bullet from hell...

I was thinking about putting a 300wsm together but not sure if I will if the 190 has at least a .570 BC. At 5000'/59 degrees I can get 1000 foot pounds at 1000 yards with expansion.

It also looks real good for the old '06...if a 24" barrel can muster 2,700 fps without exceeding 63k psi in a modern bolt action, great things could happen. (I'm thinking about 57 grains of H4350 should do the trick)

I'm betting those BC's are computer generated...but even if they are off by 10%...you still get .574.

Makes the 30-06 a solid 800 yard hunting caliber, even for elk...and deer, 1,200 yards...still well above supersonic, good expansion speed...

definately itching to compare a Matrix 165 VLD to the Nosler 150 ALR...the G1 BC is almost the same!!!

limited to 700 at the moment...

once the weather gets better...then could run to 1k...

I dont have anywhere (or anything for that matter) that can go a mile

Should be able to get a 24" 06 up to 2700 with a 190. I regularly run 190's at 2660-2700+ in 24 and 26" 308's.

I'm a Nolser Partition fan for most of my hunting loads but, a 210 grain long range AB in 30 cal looks like an interesting projectile for my 300 Win Mag. May have to give it a try.

Once the initial line of ALR bullets is out, they will consider others. I would think the .338 300 gr ALR with a BC of .8 would be in the cards.

JD338
That would be PERFECT!!! Wont blow up on a shoulder at close range and expand at long range. Ill switch from Barnes to Nosler in our Lapua if they make a .338 300 grain ALR with a .8+ bc.

EDIT: Just ran the ballistics, a 300 grain ALR with .800 BC starting at 2750 fps hits 1300 fps at 7000 ft elevation at 1950 yards!!! Even with a .750 BC it hits 1300 fps at 7000 ft elevation at 1520 yards!!

That .277 is going to make some folks happy. Glad to see a 150gr 7mm enter the lineup as well. Those are some impressive bc's hope they hold true.

Excellent News!!

Nosler BT's have usually shot very accurately in most guns I've tried them in. I can only assume these new LR bullets will be as accurate as the BT's......Hopefully anyway; BC and Bonding don't mean CHIT if they aint accurate.

Would love to try the 190 in my 300 WSM. Really would like to see the 140 in 6.5mm though. That's a bummer that 129 is all they'll be offering at the moment. I am stabilizing 140 VLD's just fine with an 8.5 twist at 4100' Elevation, 3015'/sec MV, 45° temp. Are they trying to design this line around 1-9 twists and slower??

Exactly what I was thinking. About time the old 270 get s some love. Being from CA I hope this design trickles down to an all copper long range ETip!

I'm pretty excited about this announcement!! Love to hear when these will become available. The .308 210g is gonna get some serious testing in my RUM.
