1st loads. I do that sometimes too. Awesome when you hit it first time out. That is really good velocity. What length barrel?

That is the speed I got from my old browning safari grade in 7 mag with a 24.24" #2 Fluted Benchmark 1-9 twist
I will add one thing. For deer I think the accubonds are fine. But if you are after elk I want to suggest Partitions. Always open but penetrate far. That is the speed I got from my old browning safari grade in 7 mag with a 24.
No, the bigngreen is I'm a mechanic by trade and mostly work on big and green equipment.By the way. Big N Green . Do you work for Remington?

You have one on me. I do not have access to a lab with pressure barrels. What I said was a generalization. Common knowledge that the short fats are more efficient. Accuracy? The ability for consistency. The ppc,s proved that. For a common man or hunter to see the difference is negligible. Put a 300 win mag with a taCTICAL CHAMBER AGAINST A 300WSM with a comparable chamber. Could a sniper see a difference? Doubtful.
You are right and I can,t argue. It takes a lot to see some of the effects BUT this is a long range forum not just a hunting forum and a long range hunting rifle just does not need accuracy but also cold bore precision, IMO every thing comes into play from many levels of shooting. Many of us shoot much farther than 1000 yards in prep for what ever hunting situation we are in and there is something to learn every couple hundred yards past 1000 that you didn't see closer.
That was my point. Cartridge or caliber is irrelevant without the other components.Sounds retarded when one replaces cartridge with caliber, just saying.
Almost all calibers have been proven accurate.
So you work for JD yes?No, the bigngreen is I'm a mechanic by trade and mostly work on big and green equipment.

PM maybe? So you work for JD yes?
So if you are a mechanic for an equipment manufacturer how did you get access to a lab with pressure barrels? So you work for JD yes?
PM doesn,t ring a bellPM maybe?
