I just wanted to recommend Mueller as a scope. I have a 8X25 X44 varmint tactical mil-dot that I love. I've had it 3 years and feel that it has worked well. The glass is very clear and I can easily see .223 holes in computer paper @ 100 yards on 12 power, I can barely see them at 200 yards on 12 but can start seeing them at 15x and easily see them at 20X at 200 yards. I have used this pretty exclusively on my .223 but am now putting it on a savage in 7mm rem mag so will see how it goes. The reviews at their website have mounted them on various calibers up to 50BMG so I think it will work fine. My scope came from Mueller and they are $180 which is quite a good price I feel. I have never read a bad review for their product or service. The eye relief is a bit short (3" on mine), And their warranty is solid but they don't cover them If I ruin it like leopold would. Mine is a well built scope and I'm very happy with it. I like having a variable power scope, parallax adjustable, and focus adjustable eyepiece.
