Glad you n Family are safe, wonderful you had your Radio tuned to warn you ,be careful working on your job,I've seen one in my lifetime I was 7 or 8 years young ,we all hid down in Grandpas seller , no one hurt and not to much damage, but I'll never forget that roar and site of it ,very humbled I was and we all prayed.

Muddy, you definitely are under a black cloud ( Joe Blitzic ) and it seems to be focused on you. I will put you and family on a permanent prayer chain. You must be getting woozy . Thinking I mispelled Joe's name. LOL.

Tommy! Thank you !! We might need it!! Tornado warning right now just south of us and one just north of us! I think we are out of the paths though. Nothing confirmed on ground so far.

I never thought of Michigan being in Tornado Alley. Next time maybe a sand storm. Variety is the spice of life, so they say. I just want to get away from hurricanes and sinkholes.

You can always move down to the AZ desert. No tornadoes, no earthquakes, or other natural disasters, except the occasional 110 to 120 degree day/week, and more liberals than usual after Covid but hoping they go back to Cali soon, yeah I know, wishful thinking LOL.

Tommy, three tornado warnings with 10 miles of house. One prob 5 miles. Another line of storms coming in about an hour that has history of tornadoes. WTH!!

Thanks, appreciate it! Just been crazy year so far! I use to travel on business to Phoenix and Tempe a lot. Learned to dump shoes first thing in morning! Experienced flight cancellation due to high heat on runway = no lift! Loved dinners on the roof after dark! Wherever you live is like pick your poison!

That's pretty much it. I've live all over the country except the Northeast. Been in tornadoes, hurricanes, white outs, and earthquakes. It's all a compromise.

Lived in northeast and biggest issue was winter N'oreaster that dumped 2-4' snow in 24 hours. But you had plenty if warning. My last year there I was able to walk up onto my ranch roof to shovel it off. Chains are your friend.

I lived in Illinois for 20 years and St Joe Michigan for 5 or so years so remember those times when the warning sounded...was always scarey.

I was able to do that in 2017 in Oregon. We called that "Snowmagedon". I never had to chain up even when snow wheeling.

I didn't always see a plow right away and I didn't have a 4x4 so chains on 2 wheel drive PU were huge improvement.

Well 2wd especially on trucks is different lol. Maybe about 8 sandbags would help too lol.
