IMR8208 XBR in loading 204 Ruger ammo.

I have used 26.8 gr of 8208 behind Sierra 39 BK's in multiple. 204 rifles. Usual 5 shot groups from .25 to .38 ". No reason to look any further. My rifles do not shoot the 40 V max near as well, but will do well with both the Sierra & Nosler 40 gr ballistic tips.
 
8208 is the only thing I've used in 204 for a long time. I run 27.3 with 39 Sierra and 40 Bergers at 3800-3900 depending on the barrel. I run 28-28.5 with 35 Bergers at 3950ish. Start around 28 and work up with 32's. Haven't seen a 204 shoot bad with 8208 yet
Exactly that load here as well in bog standard Tikka T3. It is made here as ADI BM 8208. We generally refer to it as Benchmark 8208. Often rebranded for sale in the US. I highly recommend this powder for this combination and for 32 grain pills as well.
