Oh you can have fun teaching folks German, we used to teach the yound soldiers :
Ich binein unterwasser panzerfahrer mit ein groser pimmel
and then we tought the young officers , when they wanted to ask for the check / bill in a restaurant to say:
Ich habe ein gummischwanz in arsh
both caused total uproar and incurable laughter.
guess you could try names like:
Rommel
Krieger
Achtung Spitfeuer
Panzer
come to think of it panzer aint half a bad name for a dog.
