"If I die in the mountains on one of my hunts..."

One day on my hunt in the mountains last week I made an embarrassing discovery about how I'd been wearing my black insulated shirt for a couple of days.

My guide Jacob Berger said he assumed this was some new smart fashion.

I said: "Oh...yeah, you're right it is!"

So I had a humorous photo taken while back in camp. I knew I'd be sharing it with my family when I got home. They enjoy laughing at me sometimes.

So I edited it and showed it to my wife and said:

"If I die in the mountains on one of my hunts --- print this picture and place it on the dresser in our bedroom to remember me by."

Thanks for the chuckle. Getting out of the sleeping bag while backpacking dressing in the dark been there done that...ha ha!

Deer hunt of 2012 found me in camp with two different hunting boots. Luckily one was right foot and the other left. Funny thing about that is there was an identical pair back home......
