From the President of Idaho 2nd Amendment Alliance

Dear Lynn,
The time is now for gun owners in Idaho to do everything they can to protect our right to keep and bear arms.
Sen. Christy Zito's Second Amendment Protection Act Expansion bill, HB 300, is rolling and it's time to give her all the support we can!
As Democrats and some weak-kneed Republicans in Congress continue to push gun control as a useless means of "stopping crime," gun owners in Idaho are trying to prepare for the onslaught.
We have been working with top attorneys in the country who litigate 2nd Amendment issues.
HB 300 is crucial to help Idahoans protect their 2nd Amendment rights.
Zito's bill will do several things:
1. It states affirmatively that small arms, many of the items the gun grabbers are trying to ban, are crucial to Idahoans and their self-defense.
2. It directs the Attorney General to defend the law.
3. If the Attorney General refuses to defend the law, it allows a legislator through concurrent resolution to defend it.
4. It ensure that anyone in Idaho's government knows they have no legal obligation to help the federal government enforce gun control.
5. It provides protections to our elected officials and law enforcement, both civilly and criminally, when they refuse to help the federal government enforce gun control.
HB 300 will help Idaho set the stage, in a very unique way, to establishment a 10th Amendment case before the courts that Idaho must have our small arms for defense. .
This argument has proven effective in defending the 1st and 4th Amendments in court and we hope to lead the country in doing the same for the 2nd Amendment.
With Biden and the gun grabbers pushing hard in D.C. to implement gun control across the United States, we must be even more vigilant in pushing pro-2nd Amendment measures here in Idaho.
That's why we need you to contact your three legislators using our pre-written email system right away and ask them to vote "Yes" on HB 300!
The legislative session is quickly running out and we need HB 300 to get moving right away.
The bill has already had an "Introductory Hearing" in Rep. Brent Crane's House State Affairs Committee and we are now awaiting a full public hearing in the same committee.
Now is the time to move forward and have Idaho lead the way in defending our right to keep and bear arms.
So, if there is anything you do today, make sure to send your email right away to ask your legislators to vote "Yes" on HB 300 before it's too late!
Thank you all again for your dedication to the 2nd Amendment and to the state of idaho.
We have never been busier trying to stop bad gun bills and pushing pro-2nd Amendment bills and we can't do any of it without you.
I am proud to stand with you in this fight.
For Idaho,
Greg Pruett
President
Idaho Second Amendment Alliance

Another circus act by the Idaho legislature. Their ridiculousness undermines any credibility they may want to have on legitimate topics. This is another such circus act. No one is coming for your guns in Idaho. I live in a mostly "blue" county and all of my friends are hunters and shooters. Our state legislature is run by a group of idiots with the collective brainpower of a third grader.

**** how I hate RINOS and all their friends...Better a circus act than LDS RINOS passing more self serving welfare bills.

If you prefer governance from a third grader because they agree with you over governance by adults because they may not agree with you........it says a lot about you. Not personally LDS at all (no idea what you based that guess on). However, of the organized religions in this country, they are one of the few that have and live by principles.
