I'm in north central Texas. The reported cwd cases that I'm aware of have been at the Texas/New Mexico border yet TPWD have been taking samples in the county where I took my deer this year. It appears all counties in Texas are taking samples. I do hope that it's not more advanced than what it is. Deer Leases in Texas help pay the high taxes meted out. It would be devastating.
