I got my first bear last week in Washington

Congratulations On Your Bear!! I have a bear rug and it is draped over a cedar chest in a room. It takes a big wall to hang it on and or a big room to lay out flat. I will go shoulder mount next time so I can enjoy it more.

I didnt mean little to imply his age. He is just little. A lot of folks post about their 300lb+ trophies, and even though my bear isnt that I'm just as proud.

He's bigger than my first bear, my first and only bear was taken with a crossbow at about 30 yards from a tree stand

My brother just texted me yesterday that the WA wackos have banned spring bear hunting now? Short on details but he's not happy ... sadly, the CO wackos are taking their cues from WA it seems.
