I'm using:I forgot to add that I have some H4831sc on hand that I used to use alot when I had the 6.5-284. So that's an option too. I think I'm gonna focus on that 130 Sierra Tipped Gamechanger first. I like medium weight bullets. Do you guys think the 130 is sufficient to anchor a Cow Elk out to 500? I can always develop alternate loads with 140 class boolits but I'm just curious.
Ummm.......not with this one!Nice rifle. Are you gonna shoot groundhogs out of the BR window? I am just asking for a friend.
You know, I was just gonna use my Harvester 300. But to be honest, I'm thinking about just keeping the brake on it and developing my load that way. It's not like I'm going to shoot it that much. I think the cans just make things cumbersome. Then again, I'm sure there are much better ones out there that would be smaller. Just not sure if I want to go through the expense and waiting game of getting one. What suppressor are you gonna use?
Awwwww, come on man!!! What a great way to revive that thread when the season comes!!!Ummm.......not with this one!
Yeah. Good fit and finish on it for a production rifle. Trigger adjustment was a snap!Did the fluted bolt come with the rifle?
Yeah with the 130 Sierra Gamechanger and some H1000. It looks like it will shoot.Have you started load development yet?
