I am falling apart ...

Sometimes it is wise to just keep things to yourself. just saying.
If this was just style points, I'm on board.
This is actually dangerous and should be called out. This is no shot at Feenix. The absence of a skin suture is a medical liability. The topical skin adhesive they used doesn't compensate for the infection highway that's left.
I've actually taught many wound closure cadaver labs to residents and physicians.

I'm out and will delete all my posts on this thread if Feenix or Len so desire.

Who the hell did your surgery? That's the most God awful excuse of trocar site closure I've ever seen. Where's the suture to reapproximate the skin layers?
I've been a wound closure specialist and this makes me want to puke. You should never see holes like this (except for the umbilicus). If you lived closer, I'd suture those holes closed for you (I'm not joking). Glad you're home..... watch out for infection.

The following picture would be a "C" grade closure.View attachment 293954

I appreciate the offer. I am sure you do a good job as suture closure specialist. The picture I posted does not do justice because of the bruising around the cut and tape/film over it esp. in comparison to your example. Will definitely watch for infection.

The one without a suture is my belly button.

Hope all is going well with you and a quick recovery comes as well. I just severely crippled my hunting season with a horse accident and now am sporting 12 screws and a plate in my ankle for a displaced fracture. Doctors are saying 6 weeks till I can start weight bearing and 3 months for a full weight bearing. Surgery was successful and the doctor said she saw no reason I wouldn't make a 100% recovery though so that's good news anyway. Eastern Montana deer hunts still may be a go but the elk tag may get left unfilled this year.

Hang in there! Push hard enough but not too hard! Healing well and fast can be a bit of a balancing act! Good luck!

That's the game plan! I overdid it one day and not again. Not worth extending the healing process. Thanks!
I have quite a bit of practice after having a broken back on three separate times. I am definitely speaking from experience! 🙂🙂
