Huskemaw 5-20 LR Scope Review By Ernie Bishop

Just finished reading the manual. Can I just say how nice it was to be able to make sense of the whole manual! Very well done IMO.

Do you know what power is used for proper reticle use for windage, etc? Most are max power but I didn't see that listed and saw one picture discussing 10x.

Thanks for writing this article. Very informative.

Great review. but for 1200.00 i'm going to have to stick with something that has been out there for sometime. like a MK4 or nightforce thats just to rich for such a new scope company to just try one. maybe in a few years. good job on the review

We are now using a new exporter to get our scopes and rifles to canada. I've sent 10 rifles there this year with no proplems. Scopes are now going through fine as well. Please call and we can outline the paperwork necessary. Personally, I like every Canadian I've met, and as a company we want to offer the same good service to our Canadian neighbors (we just have to deal with paperwork from our government!). 877.486.9375

Ernie thanks for the review, because of your review I decided to bite the bullet today and buy one at the local sportsmans show here in Bismarck(Sorry Len). Great guys to talk with and they answered all my questions. I can't wait to give it a try on my xp100.

If I were to only use the standard 1/3 MOA turret and not a custom turret, how much veticle/up MOA adjustment would I have from the zero stop?

An MOA turret is available and I'll get back to you on the total vertical adjustment. It's pretty good but I forgot the number.

Thanks Len. I think I remember reading at some time that they had 67 or so inches of verticle travel but I don't understand how that works in relation to the zero stop. Would that mean 33.5 of up adjustment from center???

The zero point will depend on your yardage and on the angle, if any, of your base. If you use, say a 20 moa base, you'll have amost 52 moa of UP left. You place the zero stop where you want it but usually near your zero. So the second answer is the same.

A couple questions for anybody in the know:

1) Is there indeed a zero stop on this scope?
2) I assume this is a SFP reticle?
3) I am a bit confused on the ability of the yardage turrets to integrate with changes in velocity, bullet bc. elevation, temperature etc...thoughts?

Thank you for your input.
