I used a few 190gn MK's on elk a few years ago…. Here are the results, recovered from a cow shot right behind the front shoulder. 250 yards 300 WM 3150fps. This is exactly the way the bullet was recovered and never exited. I Carry it on my key chain to remind me to never use a MK on an animal again. Shot a couple of bulls as well and all had to be shot multipal times…. So no I didn't have good luck with them, hope that helped.

That's weird, we've shot a dozen or so with SMK's, and even more deer. Never had a problem.
