Hunting trip results

[Savage .308]

Well I just got back tonight from my place in Coleman TX. It was a great hunt killed two does first one was at 556 yards 2nd was at 492 both took a 180 gr Accu Bond from my .300 WSM A-Bolt both deer droped like a pile of bricks with perfectly placed shoulder shots. I also managed to kill a large Coyote at 280 yards this morning. I took pics and will try to post them but I am very computer iliterate so bear with me.

Sounds like a great hunt. I just got back from my land in Coleman, TX as well. I got a 4 1/2 year old 8 pointer from my land too, but the shot was only 100 yards. I'm looking at some shots on my place that could easily exceed 800 yards. I look forward to extending my ranges. I do like Coleman, there are always dove to shoot when you get bored.

Sounds like the deer population is in trouble.

Especially like the demise of the coyote part.

Always heard that texas was 100% owned......
