Hunting Scope for 338 RUM

I also have binoculars on and fully verify the quarry first before using my riflescope. Secondly the deer in the area need to have a minimum of 3 points on a side and elk are spike bull only . So I have found it rather nice to have a high magnification scope to verify the animal is legal that I plan to harvest. Thanks

Nightforce. I'm a well known Leupold hater. I've never seen a premium scope company have the failures they do across multiple generation of scopes and still get the support they do. I've yet to try the new MK4HD line, the MK5 line is usually good to go but I just dont have trust in the product. High end Vortex are great but they are anchors except for the LHT. I have had my Burris XTR3 for a year now and I will be buying another if this one continues to perform, especially since the price today is a fraction of the price it was when I bought it. S&B and the Kahles 318 are good options too if you want to spend the dough.

I had a Mark4 on a 300 RUM and 338 Lapua. Worked fine until it didn't.

Be weary of a company that offers a lifetime warranty…you'll need it.
