I'm very lucky to have the quotas that I have where I live, in my area of Tennessee we can take two bucks a year and three does a day

Getting pretty bad to draw a decent tag. Probably go over and pay to play in TX once or maybe twice.

I've got a place I can go for pigs and feral goats and axis does that's reasonable. Aoudad area been there done that and now it's stupid expensive for how many there are. Would love to get out do it again but not at today's prices. Axis bucks have gotten crazy expensive too. Basically down to does, pigs and culls but it's hunting and I have fun and fill the freezer.

And I'll add that Texans are wayyyy to proud of their whitetails. Those prices are rough for any buck. They do put a lot of time and money into growing them though so I get that.

Sadly I don't get to hunt Illinois this year as my buddy I hunt with will be in Colorado hunting bulls (lucky him). So I will be spending most of my time in south Georgia hunting deer, pigs, and ducks. And may decide to go hunt Alabama in January. After deer season it is pigs in Georgia and bass in Florida.
