I seen a few posts where you just drill a hole and jb weld them in is it really that easy ? wont they pull out with any load ?

don't remember the brand I use but Brownells sells them in 10 paks. I oxide blast them to give a little more bite for the epoxy. Drill hole, instal with epoxy and then send a flat head screw thru the hole in the bottom of the insert for extra hold.

check your scew length before installing

ok thanks guys i looked around a little and it seem like it really that easy just drill and glue in i ordered them up and will be installing them this weekend with marinetex. I might put a screw thought the hole in the center too. you guys think this is needed ?

I would say if you can put a screw in then do it! If your stock is hollow and you cant use a screw then oh well but the added support of the screw will keep the cup from pulling out over time.

(even bedding has to bee redone ofter so long)
