How to get into competition

What kind of competition are you wanting to get into? If it's prs the best thing I can say is just show up. The PRS community is very helpful and they'll let you borrow just about anything. I've really gotten into prs over the last year and it's a great sport with great people.

Show up at the range with hundred rounds and gear. You can read about what compition your interested in to adnosium about what to bring keep it minimalistic. Show up with the attitude your here to learn from others not win your first time out. There will be many opinions. Ask questions typically they will help. First get the most out of current equip. you have before making other purchases. This will also let you developed your skill set to make better choices for equip. in the future that works for you.
