I thought it would be interesting for us with 28 Noslers to post their specs on how much rifling has been lost throughout the barrels life. It could help people get some realistic expectations on the future of their rifle. No discussions, Just list your rifle, load and bullet fps. ,how many rounds fired, and rifling lost.

Christensen arms ridgeline, 28n 1-9 twist
175 eld-x 3,160 fps with 80.7 gr. Retumbo
@300 rounds I have lost .008 thou. No fire cracking

Custom Horizon 28 inch 1/8 twist
320 rounds total
150 rounds 88gr Reloder 33 with 195 Berger at 3180fps
Last rounds 79 gr N570 with 197 Sierra at 3080fps
Some definite fire cracking have seated bullets out .010

Mine is still, very much unchanged @+.005 and I don't run reduced loads. I'm balz deep, max velocity, with just around the 300 round mark. I'v had my barrel heated on one occasion and a two 175 ELDX, vaporized!
Got hold of a box EOL 195 and 80 Hornady cases to start load development with.
