I have never heard of anyone getting cited for NFPA violations my understanding is that they are recommendations.

I have about 2 years worth of powder in reserve. I don't think that is unreasonable. I would like to have 4 years worth of powder in reserve. Given past and present supply problems, that seems logical to me.

The problem is; if I were to quantify that by weight, I'm sure it would seem unreasonable to someone who shoots a few boxes of shells a year, for example.

How many years worth of powder to you have on hand, @Onesock ?

I have enough powder/primers to shoot-out my two 7mag barrels. I get approximately a 100 rounds per pound and I believe a 7 Mag barrel could potentially last between 1000 to 1500 rounds with good hunting accuracy. Hope that helps

I take it most of the respondents to this thread are either embarresed by the amount of powder they are hoarding or think it is no one elses business. It probably isnt anyones business I was just curious. So I take it from this most on here should quit whining about the powder shortage and quit hoarding f*&^€g powder and primers. No one needs hundred of pounds of powder. I would hate to see how much *** wipe you have!!!!
