I just spent last week on SPI. In laws have a place down there. Saw a nilgai over on the port Isabel side and was wishing I could shoot it and eat it.I ain't so sure about that. I spent the better part of 30 years fishing the TX coast from Matagorda to Port Isabel. I spent 5 winters straight 2015 to 2019 fishing my beloved and treacherous Baffin Bay and the Lower Laguna Madre' Dec to May. I still loaded and shot. I regret to report I never got to harvest me one of those wild Nilgai on S. Padre Island down around 9 mile hole.
And if I lived where they had elk like your avatar I would never fish lol. Sharks and bull reds are a nuisance down here. Sure way to kill a good trout bite hook a 40" redfish. All I'm saying is that if I lived near red fish and sharks there'd be very little need for reloading components in my house.
I am gifting mine.
So, you are replacing some that were lost previously then. Terrible accident that was.Obviously not enough because I am still buying.
