You need exactly 7. Once you have 7 your good. Why? I have no idea but the #7 sounds good. Hmmmm, no I take the that back the #8 sounds better. 8 it is!!

I liked the sound of having 8 - 6.5's so much I added another to the herd.

I have one more Savage receiver in the safe that will most likely get a 26 or 27 inch SS Criterion 6.5-06 barrel.

Have had three 6,5x55 so far and those only for competion, but my dream in 6,5 is soon coming true. A Voere LBW Luxus in 6,5 x 63 Messner Mag. This 6,5 power house is enabling me to hunt nearly all kinds of game at all ranges. Mountain hunting in a new dimension with an extreme flat trajectory and "endless" power.
