How is your hunting season going so far this fall

Both mule deer tags filled this year. We got lucky on the weather, from 100° to 75° from one Saturday to the next. Headed out Saturday the 2nd in the afternoon. Got one on Sunday morning, 535 yards, 7mm-08 using the Berger 150gr Classic Hunter pushed by RL16. Right at 1,800 fps at that range, one shot and done.

Following day wife filled her tag with this one @ 330 yards.

My wife made a deal with God this season, that if she got to fill her tag, she was going to donate the deer's meat to a shelter, so she got her wish, and donated the meat.

So it was a great season for us.

What's that big boy weigh?!?!?

He weighed out at an estimated live weight of 235lbs. I've been catching glimpses of him for the last 3 years. This year he finally made a fatal mistake.
