I sent once fired, never sized cases to Copper Creek Ammo to get modified to fit the Hornady OAL gauge.

Question: if I get CBTO and COAL off a modified case fired in the rifle I will be reloading for, do I need to take into account the change in case measurements after I resize the brass for loading?

So if my CBTO is 2.5 in a once fired case, will I need to have a different measurement to account for the resizing?

The general thought I believe is that you want it as snug as possible without causing it to get stuck so your measurements are more repeatable than a sammi spec case. I barely bump the shoulder like .002 and then make a case gauge.
CBTO/COAL is the same regardless of case expansion.
