Hornady CX- New 2021

A box of 165 gr. showed up yesterday. Gonna work up a load for the .30-06 @ around 2800.

Hornady already told me there's no load data to share - yet and to just start with the GMX published data.

Edited to add the powders I'll use and the order:
1. H4350
2. RL-15
3. Varget

Interesting ...

Hornady did offer up online load data for the 6.5 CM 130 gr. CX.
I went thru the list of powders in the online data and compared them to my 10th edition Hornady book.

The CX max load data was either ~0.8 gr. less than the book data or was the same.

I'll continue on with working up loads for the 165 gr. CX based off the published GMX data...

I picked up a box of 150 7mm but I don't know when I will try them out. It was the only thing on the shelf that day. My 7-08 shot the 139 into a small touching clover so I was think the 150 might or I hope they might get close to that as well. But I'm currently shooting 162ELDX.

Yes, but first they create the hype of the new and improved and cash in on that, and then launch it again with a higher BC, and cash out on it again. Plain good old markering to maximize revenues.
still not a high enough bc for me ill stick with my good old lead based slugs they havn't let me down in the 50 yrs ive been useing them i dont see any reason to change now
just not impressed with copper never have been not even barnes impresses me

make it a g7 of 315-325for the .264 and 7mm and i might give them a look but below that im not interested

Same here, no need to fix what is not broken.

And not all that comes out is better.
