I wonder what the threading is on the muzzle break as I may want to add a silencer
I have searched for available ammo for this cartridge and did not find any. - is there?
I have not hand loaded yet but am willing to do so - how difficult is it to form ones own brass for 338-06?
If the 338 Federal is good on elk out to about 300 yards how far would this 338 06 be good to (in comparison?)
I like the 300WM because it has a good selection of over the counter ammo one can get however for me it kicks a lot and the blast is even more disheartening - I am thinking compared to the 300WM a fired 338 06 might be like more of a push with less blast - is this a possibility?
