Help me spend $2500

I love all the suggestions, but I think a person really has to ask what does spending $2500 get me over a Tikka Roughtech or Veil? ….ok, let's say you are particular about the stock, brake or even the barrel….one or two of those can be replaced and still be under $2500.

I think you will find a Tikka will be a legit 1 MOA rifle. That is sub half MOA all day long on the internet.

The Tikka does have a down side. It has a small shank diameter and an action length that is too short for long magnum builds. I think 3.4" is max factory OAL and somehow it can be modified to 3.5" OAL.

The other issue is they tend to chamber in mundane calibers. You can get a 6.5x55, but not a 6 creed nor 280AI. Twist rates are typical to slow….like 11 twist 300 WM.

6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and 243 8 twist are all nice choices.

It's my understanding European gun makers have different regulations and approval of new cartridges takes a while to incorporate.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

With many upgrades available a person has plenty of options. Watch the ads on this forum and you can get a very nice package put together.

Get yourself a solid custom action like a Mack Brothers. Then a barrel of your choosing, trigger and stock and have a gunsmith chamber it for you. It'll be waaay better than anything off the shelf and every aspect will be what you want it to be.

If you reload, build a custom LA gun w/ wyatts magazine box to load long. If not factory, out of the box Bergara Ridge Carbon rifles are accurate, Tikkas are shooters too but you will need to customize the barrel and chamber to shoot 7prc and stocks are weak point so you'll probably replace that too. If I was shooting only factory ammo, I'd get a Bergara and put the rest of the money towards ammo or optics.
