Yes with top end custom action. You can buy trued 700 actions for $500 if you watch. Saw two in last couple weeks. I bought new A3 sporter stock for $375 off this site. Stockys has pretty decent hunting stocks for well under $300 with bedding blocks. Bottom line you can do easily for under $3000 but $2300 is tight but doable if not in a hurry and $5000 is way over. I have built top end competition guns and never hit $5000 with bix and Andy triggers, $900 stocks etc. My last 2 were under $700 fir shipping and gunsmith, no more than 3 weeks door to door and one included a brake tuner.

Sounds like he'd like my 300 Win Mag. Other than my barrels not fluted. Borden action,jewel trigger, hinged floor plate, #3 Brux, Holland brake, McMillan game scout, NF SHV. Complete weight is 10 lb 2 oz and is extremely accurate. 215's at 3000 fps. I agree he will need to get his budget closer to 5K.

Build the platform and caliber you are wanting. The challenging part of being a lefty is recouping funds on builds that did not turn out the way you wanted them.
