Based on a recent review by a respected optics reviewer (Beckstrand) I'd go with the Leupold. Similar quality but the Leupold has more of what you need like more magnification and locking turrets.
I have a 5 - 15 x 42 SWFA on my 6.5 CM Ruger Amer. Predator and 15X is as low as I want on the upper end for hunting here in Nevada's wide open spaces.
AND my SWFA scope has no locking turrets PLUS no turret caps so I tape them in place with clear heavy duty packing tape. Works so far.
BTW, I just love SWFA's glass quality for the money, not to mention FFP, mil/mil and side focus.
