can anyone tell me the internal mag length on browning hells canyon speed rifle - 300 win mag ? Thanks
I have one in 6.5 Creed, so can't help with the long action, but mine has plenty of space to load Berger's and A-max out to the lands. I bet a gun store would let you measure if you took your calipers and asked nicelyWell I can tell you your hope is no good with the number crunchers. Take a look at Noslers rifles and their short magazines. They even designed two of the best cartridges this century will see to meet the 3.4 SAAMI spec instead of seating the big bullets out where they should be. Sorry for the side bar. I would bet money that any X-bolt magazine will be the same. Someone on here has to have one.

I have a long action X Bolt in .280 Rem. In case you haven't already found your answer I just measured Browning's factory mag at 3.608, give or take. I did seat a 162 ELD-X into a dummy case at exactly 3.600 coal and it fed just fine into the magazine even with a few other cases put in on top of it. Not sure how consistent ABM's ammo is in regards to coal but it might just barely work
Not really. What's wven more interesting is that I went toWould there be any way to extend the mag length? Perhaps removing some material from the front of the mag? I'm not completely familiar with the mag designs
