Welcome,

I thought/think I know what a CPO is but have no idea of what an HTC is? Maybe a Hard Target Cartridge:D?

I was an IC 1 with 5 yrs 8 months and 21 days. Tricky Dickie cut me off short.

Betcha never out do you daughter:D. That's just the way things are. If you don't believe it just ask...................her.:)

I'll keep my good eye out for a 267 Sendero.

I can see that there might be some confusion here!

Damm. I stopped reading at the OP's first post then spent 30 minutes on Google trying to understand "HTC"
Now I just continued to read the thread and found the answer.
BTW, I spent twenty-one years as a Retired Activities Office volunteer @ NBVC and never came across that acronym. LOL

A CPO is a Navy Chief Petty Officer E-7 third down from the top of the enlisted ranks after Senior Chief Petty Officer E-8 and Master Chief Petty Officer E-9. HTC is a Hull Technician Chief (Tough Job) I was an ATC which is Aviation Electronics Technician (Not quite so tough job).
Welcome to a great forum!!
Glad you clarified the acronym, here in Illinois a CPO is a conservation police officer.
Thank you for your service.
