Someone probably just loaded the wrong 100 unit carton in the the packaging machines. It is all automated on the line. Someone made a mistake or skipped the quality checks. Wondering how many were wrong?
Idk, I'd be happy to take some mislabeled bricks at a steep discount. If Midway is aware of the issue, they should be hanging on to any suspect bricks until either they (or Federal) verify they are correctly labeled and packaged.
Anything less is unacceptable.
Me too! Not that I wanted too. To stock up, but at times thing have to be done to stay safe. Now I got to go check mine from Midway.
Be **** glad you got some Large Rifle Primers. it's not that hard to figure out what is what between LRP and SRP.I would demand a 10:1 replacement deal for the correct primers in the correct boxes

Slightly off-topic..for those interested:There is no indication Vista is shutting down production on sporting lines related to the ammo side. The layoffs are sparked by consolidation of recently acquired sporting equipment manufacturers in the clothing and hard goods like cycling and snow equipment market and the overall market downturn for sporting goods like shoes, shirts, cycling, and camping related outdoor gear.
Their Ammo portfolio is very strong and the new CEO was actually in charge of the the Ammo side.
If Midway is aware of this problem then they should stop selling a mid labeled product until Federal clears it up!I agree Weaver93!!!!!
Here's my interview with Jason Vanderbrink, CEO of the Sporting Products (ammo) part of Vista. He talks about the sale and what it means to production of ammo for Federal, Speer, Remington, etc.Slightly off-topic..for those interested:

I thought Russian ammo imports were area nixed.Remington, Speer, Federal, CCI ammo now foreign owned? Lake City Arsenal no longer selling ammo Retail?
ls this back door gun control? What's next? A ban on imported AMMO??
They are for the most part. According to NSSF some are still getting imported, since they were already under contract. Even that has had a steep price increase. I don't use it so I don't follow it closely.I thought Russian ammo imports were area nixed.
