Hawkins hunter mag issues.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse, before purchasing the mag I did not read that it's specifically designed for beltless magnums ( my bad). Has anyone found any work arounds? I know Hawkins is/ was working on a hunter mag to accommodate the belted cartridges. Hawkins makes a very nice product I don't want to mess with a perfectly good mag but let me know what yall think thank you.

Do you have the latest generation long action magnum hunter magazine?

Those work just fine for belted magnums.

The first-generation magazines did not feed the belted magnums well at all, but the new ones are great.

Interesting, how do I tell which gen I have? I'm assuming in the packing or something I can tell when I get home. But mine hangs up on the belt pretty bad. I don't believe it would feed without muscling it home

It's been a year or two since they upgraded, I believe they had old engraving insignia on the gen 1 magazines. (Cannot recall off the top of my head).
