Hammer Vs Hornady Vs Barnes?

With listed optimal twist rate of 7" I may be out of luck with the factory 7.5" on the Howa.
I'll have to shoot him a message and get his thoughts on performance in the ARC with the 7.5" twist. It's definitely intriguing though.
I'm at the same place as you but with a 1-7.5 twist 6mm creed. Please let us know what he says, I'm very interested in this bullet.

Looking at the load data on Hammer's page I'm a little surprised by what I read.
24" barrel w/H335 for max loads
87gr AB - 3200fps - Compressed
88gr HH - 3160fps

How is that even possible? Is H335 just too slow to push that AB to it full capability!? I thought the ABs were good for an additional 150+ fps over the HHs…? The AB is pressured out and only gains an extra 40fps over the HH. I'm also curious if this load data is with an AR or boltgun.
Will definitely be calling when I get some time.

Where did you find the load data for those? My downloaded data shows leverevolution at 32.3gr at 3000 fps in a howa mini. My data doesn't even show data for a 6 arc and the 88. Both those loads seem very optimistic in a 6arc.
For reference I'm pushing a 88 hh at 3400 in my 28" barrel 6 creed and they're on the spicy side of life. Absolute hammers in my experience have shown velocity gain as claimed 100-150fps when optimum powders are used.

I see. With that data I'm not sure that's actual data or if it's a projected quick load kinda thing. The data I stated was the actual data log from real world tests from members submissions.

From my experience over the years, I have always seen the HH run about 50-100fps faster than traditional cup and core of equal weights. My thought process was that If Hornady is showing 3000-3050 (24" boltgun) with a their 87-90gr bullets, I should be able to hit at least 100fps faster, especially if using the AB with a fast enough powder… 🤷‍♂️

I would agree with where you're headed here. Load em up and try em out and let us know where you got them too!
