Hammer bullets WTH

I'm sorry if my lame attempt at humor didn't get to ya. That was supposed to be showing your domination. I'm the little guy swinging his arms. 😁☺️ I'm a pretty serious guy, but in the right mood can be a total goofball machine.
I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, and I can joke around and be crude with the best of them. I actually get the most serious when it comes to this stuff because I guess I have the most passion for it.

Yah, folks take themselves too serious sometimes. That's what tickles me about certain posters... 🤠 And the self reflection or lack of it... We can be concerned that others are taking us wrong, while at the same time taking others completely wrong and droning on in our self-rightness. It gets kinda funny if ya can keep yer feelins out of it...
Agreed, yet I also think sometimes it gets frustrating when you want to be serious and others think it's a joke. There definitely should be a balance though of seriousness and lightheartedness. If everything were a joke and not to be taken too seriously, I fear we lose some purpose and legitimacy with certain discussions. There's a time and a place I suppose. There's a time to step back and relax as well.

It really sounds like the OP has a bullet or an experience that didn't meet his expectations. Happens, there are perfectly functional bullets that don't meet mine but that's a me thing.
Personally I hate hunting with tipped bullets, cross the board and I shoot every one that comes out just because it's interesting to see.

All I'd like is to get a spec from someone with a failing bullet since I am playing with these, specs translate from person to person, their clean and simple and lack emotion, if the specs are different than what I have I can modify and see if it replicate, then that allows desisions with information. If I can make spec then it leaves less interpretation at the animal if we make it that far in the process before I loose interest.

Clearly things went sideways at a personal level, last thing I knew was if I wanted some fun times shooting and testing I better figure out how to go shoot with Fordy, then this crap, which suxs cause we were having some interesting conversations!

I agree. Been there done that.

After reading 25 pages, I'm going to sell off all my reloading equipment and supplies and just buy good ol' Remington corelokts and Federal Fusions. These boutique pills just don't perform.

Kidding, just kidding.

For 95% of hunters, that really is all that's needed. The VAST MAJORITY of hunters could shoot a deer with a Fusion and a deer with a Hammer and not see a single bit of difference in the dead deer.

This guy gets it!

(I'm kidding too)
I guess I don't get it and there is no room for humor in this thread.

It's interesting how many mechanics also do this stuff at home. I couldn't mechanic anymore so I'm management/diagnostics for a team. In interviews it tracks real strong if you like this stuff as a hobby you will have potential in the shop, but you gotta have a thick hide!!

I've worked my way up to management now too. No more wrench turning for me lol.
