Hammer bullets WTH

I guess it's hard because every individual person has their own idea of how a bullet should perform.

In my mind, the exact same bullet that he is referencing and the exact same cartridge has worked great for me, FOR ME lol. Havnt had an animal go farther than 20 yards from 382 to 820 yards. Found petals in every animal, didn't find the shank. BUT, they have all been in the vitals. If I shoot outside of the vitals, I don't expect the bullet to cover for me, that's on ME and I should either practice more or get closer.

I do believe the OP stated that his hits were all in the vitals. So I imagine he just has a different opinion of what a bullet should do than I do. If hammer is not willing to change the bullet up to meet the thousands of different requirements that tons of people have, should they not just go buy bullets from a different company that will meet their requirements?

Just discussing here.
This is a very valid point. What is acceptable to each individual is very subjective and opinionated.

Agreed, but if there are valid concerns with certain/particular bullets or things about them, is that not something worth discussing to maybe improve for the betterment of anyone using them?

I don't see it as merely, "I don't like them".

The friendships breaking (at least the ones I'm thinking about), wasn't because of a bullet either. It was something much worse.

Why are we here on this forum if we can't or shouldn't discuss things like this?
The OP started this off on the wrong foot. I'm not surmising anything, but there should be just as much curiosity about the outside contributing factors as there is about what is wrong with the bullet if we are going to be truly objective. He presents himself in dramatic fashion without documentive proof of anything. Maybe we should let him prove his own case. From an investigative standpoint, there are questions. All this conjecture just stirs the pot. We should all think how we would react if the post was reflecting against our favored projo, whatever it may be, and how that would influence our reactions. Furthermore, the OP is treading a bit close to the edge on the forum rules.

I could start a thread like this about Bergers. Or Badlands. Or Apex. You're not hearing my bad experiences here. I test stuff to break stuff. I like objective data, not emotional reactions to ill-defined expectations and results. Been a lot of posturing here by folks trying to exploit the opportunity to promote themselves, their attitudes, and/or their views and perceived expertise or whatever future personal agenda they might be serving. Some here find joy in any negativity related to a certain company and have been actively engaged in that way on this forum for years. All of this is self-diminishing. Others here have supported said company but have had some disappointments more recently. Guys who put honesty and integrity over ego. I applaud the heart it takes to do that. Maybe said company will meet your expectations again someday.
X-2

these concerns were brought up because the OP experienced a situation that could indeed be a result of these same concerns.
info from OP is vague IMO, no pictures to show what the internals look like, very little can be learned from this incident if not more data is received from OP, I've been following this thread from the beginning, all desire to be a bullet manufacture left me.

I have had decent results as well, and that's pushing them over the speed limit. 🤠

Yes, and I think you'd find most have set aside the dramatic portion of his post and focused on the possibilities of a legitimate concern, and those have been brought up and discussed.

I'm absolutely not condoning the tone of the OP or how it was presented.

There are definitely other possibilities that could have caused the issues he claims. I'm not disputing that either. Others, however, most certainly are disputing that his results were anything other than acceptable. Do you not find that interesting? Just because he was dramatic about it, does that not make his concerns valid?

Sure, some posts here have stirred the pot, but if we can be told to look past certain other posts that are dramatic in nature or seem to be complaining in a subjective way about a bullet, can we not also look past those posts that seem to only be stirring the pot?

Dude, what's up with you?

Usually staying out of trouble. You don't hear yourself coming across on here. I'll let it at that. Wish you well bud, and I mean that.
Perhaps you're just taking me wrong. It's difficult to portray tone as intended in writing.

I could say similar things about you and what you've brought to this discussion so far, or haven't. And to hopefully ensure that's taken properly, I mean that with the utmost respect. I'm not at all trying to be condescending.
