Makes me wonder if all this is over thinking things. 143@3600 155@3500 169@3300 would you ever see an actual difference in how well it kills?

Those are pretty optimistic number for the 143 & 155. More like 3500 & 3400. I've loaded both of them in a 26" barrel. But yes, totally overthinking it. I'd just stick with what you have and learn the ballistics and wind with it.
