H1000

I'm needing some H1000 for a 6.5 PRC build I'm working on but figure it will be at least a year before my build is completed. My local store has a 8 pound keg for $350+tax. Should I grab that up or wait until I can find some for a better price?

Sorry that was a dumb question I did not even reply to what gun I was using it for 270 win I found some information on their website on the reloading for bullets but have never heard of it or used it

Here's my 2 cents. If you load 65 grains (guess) you will get 861 rounds out of 8lbs. @ $380/861 your powder per round cost is $.44. If you wait till H1000 is $250 your cost per round is $.29 ea. If a difference of $.15 is meaningful to you then wait. Powder is coming. Maybe! I shoot H1000 and I can say its been the hardest to find. Ive manged to find as much H4350/H4381sc/Varget/H110/H4895/Retumbo/R33/R25/R23/R19 as I need. Found my first 5lbs of H1000 last week.
I'm guessing your decision has been made for you cause it is unlikely your guy still has that H1000.
Next time buy it. Its FIFTEEN CENTS.
