That's a missing component a lot of people don't talk about. When you find a Smith that does prompt quality work, a tip there makes more sense to me than a tip on a meal or a barista. Takes a pulse and a smile to make your food or coffee, takes a fair whack of care to make a good rifle.

I would give Jim Kobe in Bloomington a call, he chambered about a dozen barrels for me before I got my own lathe and I was always very happy with the quality of the work, price and the fastest turn around in the business.
