I cast another vote for Richie with High Tech customs. I've had some custom work done and he also built 4 rifles for me - all tack drivers.

Richie built a 6BR for me, most accurate gun I've ever shot. The brake was blended perfectly. Had 2 guns built at Mile High, both flawless.

Red Hawk rifles in Grand Junction builds fine rifles. They did fantastic work on my Edge.

I am wanting to get the barrel threaded and a side port muzzle brake installed on my Rem700 Sendero. Any suggestions for a smith? Preferably on the I-25 corridor. I work in northern CO and live in southern CO.

Might try Gordy's Precision in Kansas City, MO.64155 641-780-5085. He has barrel 3 rifles for me and has just built a complete rifle for me last week. he is a 1000 yd. gunsmith. He instructs gunsmithing

I'd for sure go with mile high in Erie or defensive edge in Idaho and be cautious with high tech customs and I'm very familiar with all three shops
