Depends on the powder. Burned SUPERFORMANCE smells like an electrical fire I find, as does rl25. . Offensive to the senses and involuntarily anxiety inducing….because the smell of an electrical fire is worrisome!!!!

Best smell on earth just about has to be from a bygone product…I'm supposed to be too young to know about these but I've been fortunate to have shot paper-hulled 12 guage shells and MY GOODNESS that's just so nice….

I'm still looking for a perfume for the wife that smells just a freshly opened 8 pounder of VV N165.

That was used in the old 300 win mag loads at the AMU for 1000K comps behind a 210 Berger VLD, wish I had a dollar for every pound of that stuff I shot.
