Gun boxes

Do you save them? What about scope boxes, etc?

I save everything (have the original box for every gun I've ever purchased] I figured this was normal, however after mentioning it to some of my hunting buddies they thought it was odd to keep them.

As long as you have the attic space why not!
A lot of my collection is odd or hard to find which I think it is extra cool if I have the box and paperwork

I have saved quite a few as well, both gun and scope boxes...
They sure take up a lot of space!!!

If you ever trade a rifle in, having the box and associated paperwork increases your rifles value.

I save all of my boxes and paperwork. I am also particularly careful with my rifles and gear, which keeps resale higher. I brought a mint condition Remington 3200 over/under to my dealer to sell. He told me, "if you had the original box, this shotgun would yield another $100". I told him, "I'll be right back".

Nope, throw everything away. I don't have space for a box collection. I might keep one or two around in case I sell something.
