Hello everyone! I'm glad to be joining this group! I live east of San Diego in the D16 hunt zone, which has pretty miserable success rates for mule deer, but I still enjoy trying to find them. I mostly hunt feral pigs north of here on Tejon Ranch and really enjoy it. I also make trips every 1-2 years to Canada to hunt geese. Pronghorn and elk are dream hunts that I'll get to eventually. I'm excited to see what I can learn and contribute to discussions here. Everyone take good care.

Welcome from western Colorado, years ago when I lived in la crescenta I hunted D11 and D13, I have always felt if you could hunt those units, you could hunt anywhere. Miserable country with very few deer, if you killed something, you earned it.

You're so right! Lol! It really makes me appreciate when I travel somewhere and game is plentiful. Flyfishing the surf is pretty fun, and unique to this area - I try to get out and do that as much as possible.

Welcome from the SF Bay Area - and Wisconsin (where I'll be bow hunting whitetails in a few days!)

I'd love to hunt the Tejon Ranch some day, I watched a number of videos a few years ago, looks like a great place. Some stories about your hunts there would be most welcome :)
