The November 24 issue of SI has an article on the imbalance created in nature with the decreasing number of hunters.
Unlike most articles in mainstream media, it portrays hunting in positive light, and illustrates the issues that many here have discussed over and over; increased car accidents due to larger numbers of deer, property damage from deer eating shrubbery, bear attacks and appearances in unusual places, etc.
They didn't even touch on the damage from coyotes.
But they did point out what happens when too many wolves and men come into contact, chronicleing the death of a 22 year old man in Canada.
Every hunter should buy an issue, to show SI that hunters do buy magazines with positive articles, and that we actually CAN read.
If we don't get more involved in mainstream activities, we WILL see our rights go away!
