yup ive never been one that could be leveraged. I might have been able to be twisted a bit more if it would have had exceptional wood but it was plain jane by #1 standards. Worked out well though as i really wanted the classic as a first choise but was just having a heck of a time finding one. I really like #1s and think a #1 with nice wood is about the sexiest rifle made and have shot a pile of deer with them but when it comes to a serious everyday hunting gun i still gravitate back to bolt guns.
