Good Washington Bull

Waited 23 years to draw the tag.
Shot wasn't far only 440 yards.
Have some amazing friends helping out. Total miles on the boots that day was 14.99 miles with the two trips to the truck. We were all pretty tired but it was still fun
Congratulations from Washington resident also

Great bull , I am interested in your load. Does the rifle stabilize the 195 bergers with a 1-9 twist? I have a lh model showing up next week of the same rifle. Thanks, I have 24 points so I guess there's a chance .

When I called Berger to get load data and told him what bullet I was wanting to use he said it would shoot fine out to something like 739 yards and then the bullet would become unstable, usually I shoot a 30-378 Weatherby but for some reason my velocity was decreasing so I decided to shoot the .28 Nosler further than 700 yards. I have a spot I go where I can reach 840 yards so I went there and the gun shot ½ moa at that distance every time. I'm not sure what happens when the bullet becomes unstable but they seemed to still shoot well, wasn't like they were hitting the steel sideways or anything, so I took the Weatherby for backup and used the .28 Nosler. I will say it's way nicer to carry all day
