Good Scope for the money

Have a friend that hunts ,up close only ,that wants to upgrade because his present scope is a ***...He does not have many bucks and said $100 would be tops..He hunts deer, longest shot so far 150 yards...Please recommend a good value....Thanks

$100 won't get you much look at these Weaver fixed powers I hear they are pretty reliable.

Might try hanging out in gunshops till someone comes in trying to trade one in. I once bought a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x40 with Butler Creek caps and rings for $125 off of a guy that was trading. Fellow was a nice guy and was a total stranger. He even accepted a check.

In a word, ebay. Look for a good used scope.
