I try to leave mine on all the time, evertime I go to reload I put the 20G weight that your suppose to use to calibrate on the pan if it reads 308.65 or within a couple .02 then I'm good.

Both of mine would be all over the place with the 20g weight. Tried and tried and tried.
sent first one back they said was defective sent me a new one worked for a few months the right back to what the first one was doing. Every time I used the 20g weight I'd have different numbers every time sometimes 310.00 or other times 306.50 maybe once I'd get the 308.64gr. Just too risky for me

I don't think jewelers get to put thousands of gems on them in a year. I imagine there is something to the use we as reloaders are doing that affects service life.
